about me

I'm an Oehme postdoctoral fellow at the University of Chicago's Enrico Fermi Institute. I work on high-energy physics.

My research focuses on the phenomenology of new physics beyond the Standard Model. I'm interested in model building, especially with regard to the hierarchy problem and dark matter. I also work on conformal field theories and the AdS/CFT correspondence. For more info, see my research page and my INSPIRE profile.

Also take a look at my CV (PDF) and past talks.

bio

I began my position at Chicago in August 2024. Prior to that, I obtained my Ph.D. in physics at Cornell University; my advisor was Csaba Csáki. I completed my undergraduate studies at Carleton University in my hometown of Ottawa, Ontario. I majored in physics and biology, with a minor in math.

Aside from physics, I'm also very interested in music, including playing, listening, theory, and writing. My spare time is mostly spent reading, playing guitar, and baking. My favourite dinosaur is a tossup between Microraptor and Sinornithosaurus.

For more non-physics things, see my miscellaneous page.
